MORE than 20 residents at Wearne House enjoyed a recent singalong.

With organiser Sheila Twine they sang songs from the 1930s and ‘40s that everyone knew, including The White Cliffs of Dover and When You Wish Upon A Star.

“Some sang from song sheets, some remembered the words and kept time with lagerphones or marracas and one gentleman delighted us with his whistling,’’ she said.
