Splash Out for Some Holiday Fun

From workshops covering circus and character design and illustration to themed art and craft and a performance of The Pianist, there is something for all ages.

Anyone looking for inexpensive family entertainment can join in the Sandpit – fun arts and crafts in the centre foyers from Monday, January 18, to Friday, January 22, from 10am to 2pm for just a gold coin donation entry.

Enjoy a creative Illustration – Telling Stories with Pictures Workshop showing how to tell your own stories just using pictures on Wednesday, January 20, from 11am to noon for eight to 12-year-olds.

The Secrets of Character Design Workshop on Wednesday, January 20, from 1pm-3pm will teach the techniques professionals use to develop great characters.

These workshops will be run by award-winning illustrator James Foley, who will bring kooky characters to life.

The hugely popular Circus Workshops will be at the centre for only two days, so book early.

All circus workshops will be run by Pulse Productions Inc and include skills to increase confidence and concentration and build teamwork and communication in a non-competitive and nurturing environment on Monday and Tuesday, January 18 and 19.

A comic solo performance by Thomas Monckton as The Pianist will be at the centre on Friday and Saturday, January 22 ands 23,

The show centres on, in, under and around a grand piano.
