13-year-old charged over Waroona school fire

A 13-year-old has been charged in relation to a fire that was allegedly started at a Catholic school in Waroona on Monday night.

Police and DFES claim a shade sail was set on fire at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School on Millar Street after 11pm.

Fire crews were called to the fire and had in under control within 10 minutes.
