Adventurescape Playground finalist in Australia’s Best Playground

The Austin Lakes estate playground is one of seven entrants from WA.

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects has launched the national competition to celebrate the most well-designed public play spaces across Australia.

AILA chief executive Shahana McKenzie said: “Australia’s Best Playground is an apt opportunity to… encourage the public to think about the positive impacts these play spaces have on their community,” she said.

The Adventurescape Playground draws its inspiration from the historical agricultural references of the area.

The play space is a fun light-hearted farm themed playground that excites the imagination of children while also providing facilities and amenities suitable for community members of all ages.
