Miss Dann (19) is an entrant in Miss Universe WA. She has made it into the top-70 section and entered to champion the cause of Aboriginal women.

‘I have plenty of things I want to achieve,’ she said. ‘But right now this is what I’m focusing on.’

Miss Dann is no novice when it comes to the glitz and glamour of beauty/talent/modelling competitions.

‘I’ve been in Miss Teen Australia WA, when I was 16 years old and won Judges Choice,’ she said. ‘This year I was in the Miss World Australia National Finals in Melbourne.

‘It was one of the most amazing experiences I have been a part of.’

Miss Dann went to Living Waters Lutheran College in primary school and Mandurah Baptist College for high school.

‘I love to train as much as I can at the Pilates Institute in Myaree and the Hurt Locker Boxing in Claremont,’ she said.

It is not unusual for her to leave home by 4.30am to go to two exercise classes before work.

‘I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve always been taught if you want something, you have to give it 150 per cent until it’s done,’ she said.
