THE annual Redkite Christmas Card Donation campaign has been launched at Coles, Mandurah Forum.

The campaign offers the community the chance to raise much-needed funds for national cancer charity Redkite, which supports children and young adults with cancer and their families.

From now until December 27, shoppers can buy a $2 Redkite donation card at Coles.

The campaign comes amid Redkite’s predictions that demand for financial assistance among cancer patients is likely to soar by more than 20 per cent across WA in the lead up to Christmas.

Redkite general manager marketing and fundraising Monique Keighery said the Christmas period would be a challenging time for many families.

“Some families will get the devastating news that their child has cancer and hundreds of children will be undergoing treatment or facing the impacts of cancer,’’ she said.

“By buying a $2 donation card at Coles, shoppers can help children and young people with cancer and their families when they need it most.”
