The Alcoa School Education Program provides thousands of school children with the chance to learn about sculpture making with practising artists.

This year, 340 students from schools local to Alcoa's operations at Kwinana, Pinjarra, Waroona, Dwellingup and Yarloop took part in the workshops as guests of the company.

Alcoa of Australia managing director Alan Cransberg said the workshops gave students a chance to experience aluminium as a creative medium, learning from international artists.
