Jon Ogborne, of Meadow Springs, has saved 600.
He first became a blood donor at 18 years old and recently celebrated the milestone of 200 blood donations, which equates to about 100 litres of blood.
He donates plasma at Rockingham Blood Donor Centre every fortnight.
I work away, so its hard to give back to the community, he said.
Donating blood costs me nothing but my time, and I can help so many people.
Mr Ogborne was recognised at a National Blood Donor Week recognition ceremony at the University of WA.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service Blood Service spokeswoman Jessica Willet said ordinary people could achieve extraordinary things by donating blood.
This National Blood Donor Week were celebrating the extra that donors give that makes them not just ordinary, but extraordinary, she said.
Donating blood only takes one hour and by giving that extra time, donors make an extraordinary impact on the lives of those who need blood.
