Author Meg McKinlay inspires Halls Head PS students on visit

AUTHOR Meg McKinlay inspired the literary talents of Halls Head Primary School students when she visited on September 7.

Mrs McKinlay is a children’s writer and poet. She has published 10 books for young readers, ranging from picture books through to novels for young adults.

Mrs McKinlay explained to students her writing process. She said her imagination developed funny ideas until she had whole stories.
