THE Save the Children Bookshop in the Smart Street Mall arcade is celebrating International Literacy Day this Saturday with a half-price book sale.

“We sell books at bargain prices but they will be even more of a bargain to mark this special day,’’ member Linda Thorpe said.

The bookshop is staffed by volunteers and open from 10am to 4pm.
