Beatlemania set to hit Mandurah

THE international hit tribute show Beatlemania on Tour will relive the heyday of one of the world’s favourite pop acts when it visits Mandurah next month.

The spectacular two-hour show recreates a true Beatles experience with stunning costumes, state-of-the-art lighting and production, replica instruments and all songs performed with attention to details in their original key.

More than 30 of the biggest and most treasured hits will be performed, including Can’t Buy Me Love, All My Loving, Please Please Me, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, Day Tripper, Nowhere Man, Help, Yellow Submarine, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Hey Jude.

Making up the band are four Australian performers – Cameron Charters as Paul McCartney, Zac Coombs as John Lennon, Brent McMullen as George Harrison and Ben Harper as Ringo

“There is so much detail to get right for a show of this calibre,’’ Charters said.

“Aside from getting the music spot-on, we need to nail the characters, voices and movements.

“I have even learnt how to play bass with my left hand, as that’s the way McCartney played.

“It’s a lot of work but it’s worth it when you see the end result and know the real Beatles fans will appreciate it.”
