JACK Nie recently turned 99 years old.
Mr Nie has been visiting Modern Medical Clinics for many years and is much loved by his doctor Neels Myburgh, nurses and receptionists, who put on a special surprise afternoon tea for him last week.
Clinic nurse Julie White said he was part of a “happy family”.

READ NOW“When he enters the building, he just puts a smile on all our faces, dishing out lots of |cheek and laughter,’’ she said.
“He has become very special to all of us.
“He gets as good as he gives and is such a character.”
Mr Nie cared for his wife Yvonne for many years until she died last year.
He played golf until he was 97.
He is also a great cook and a keen gardener.
