Boy charged after allegedly stealing speaker, cake from shopping centre

POLICE have charged a 15-year-old boy after he allegedly forced entry to numerous stores within a shopping centre on Pinjarra Road and stole electronic devices, cake and soft drink.

Police allege the boy forced entry to the shopping centre between 7.45pm and 8.30pm on May 5 and stole a bluetooth speaker.

It is alleged the boy returned to the centre between 12.15am and 12.30am on May 6 and stole electronic devices, cake and soft drink.

The Girrawheen boy was charged with trespass, two counts of stealing and two counts of burglary and commit.

He is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court today.
