Break-in at shopping centre

INTRUDERS smashed glass doors to gain entry to three businesses at Miami Plaza Shopping Centre, Falcon last night.

At café Lazy Janes Cafe, tips and an ipad were stolen after the bottom of the main entry was kicked in.

Owner Jonna believes the break-in occurred just after 11pm.

She said it was the first time there had been trouble since she bought the business about three years ago.

At the other end of the centre, thieves entered a pizza shop and hurled everything off the counter but did not find anything to steal.

Around the corner, Spicy Flavours Indian Restaurant  also had its door smashed.

Last week, thieves broke into the Subway store but only took three packets of chips.

Forensic officers are at the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage.
