Broadband CCTV in city

A National Broadband Network (NBN) CCTV system has been installed at priority areas in the Mandurah city centre.

The NBN-based CCTV network will provide a permanent NBN connection to the police station, which will allow for faster access to CCTV footage and access to more cameras within the central business district.

This will improve officers’ ability to view CCTV footage and arrest persons of interest, and reduce crime at local hotspots.

Mayor Marina Vergone said the NBN CCTV project would go a long way towards making people feel safe and secure in the city centre.
