Bushfire alert for Nanga Brook road in Waroona

THE Department of Parks and Wildlife have issued a bushfire advice for Nanga Brook Road in Waroona.

There is no threat to lives or homes.

The fire was reported after 3pm today and the cause is currently unknown.

Although there is no immediate danger residents need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

The fire started on Nanga Brook Road between Hilla Waters Road and Waroona Road.

The “small controllable fire” is moving slowly in a south westerly direction and has burned approximately three hectares.

No recreation sites or roads are closed.
