Canning MHR Hastie hosting public forum about white South African farmers

CANNING MHR Andrew Hastie is hosting a public forum about the treatment of farmers in South Africa.

The forum will be held in Mandurah on Tuesday, April 10.

It will be attended by the Minister of Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Alan Tudge and will be co-hosted by Moore MLA Ian Goodenough.

A statement from Mr Hastie’s office said the event had been organised in response to significant feedback from the local community concerning the persecution of white South African farmers.

Members of the community will be able to raise any concerns they have directly with the minister.

Mr Hastie will also meet with leaders of local multicultural groups during his time in the Canning electorate.
