Cat owners warned after two moggies burnt

Rachel FennerMandurah Coastal Times

THE RSPCA WA has issued a warning to cat owners after two pets in the Mandurah area came home with burns.

The RSPCA received the two disturbing reports on May 21 regarding cruelty to cats in the Coodanup area around Foster Road, Hovea Place and Erica Street.

Two cats in this area returned home burnt or singed, however, both cats survived and are recovering. The RSPCA is asking people who may know something to make a report via the Cruelty Hotline on 1300 CRUELTY (278 358). They urge anyone with pets in the area to remain vigilant about where they are, especially after dark.
