Charity tin stolen

The collection tin was on a chain on the shop counter.

The last time Mr Edwards checked the tin, it was half full.

"I was getting excited to count it," he said.

Mr Edwards� role at the rescue centre includes cleaning the bird cages, bobtail tanks and kangaroo enclosures.

"I was really upset when I found the collection tin was gone," he said.

"I know how hard the volunteers work and how much the money could help the animals."
