MANDURAH detectives are investigating the assault of an 8-year-old boy in Port Kennedy on Tuesday, July 4.
The incident occurred between 12pm and 1pm when the boy near the bus stop at Warnbro Sound Avenue, near Stockton Road.
The boy was approached by an older woman who was screaming at him before hitting the boy’s face.
The boy and woman got on a bus together a short time later.
