A 56-year-old Greenfields man has been charged with historic child sex offences.
The man allegedly assaulted a girl, who was known to him and just eight at the time of the first offence, between 2007 and 2009.
As a result of an investigation into allegations against the man, Sex Offender Management Squad detectives have charged him with four counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years.

READ NOWHe has also been charged with two counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years, one count of procuring a child under 13 years to do an indecent act and two counts of exposing a child under 13 years to indecent matter.
The man is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
