The Waterwise Council Program is jointly run by the Water Corporation and the Department of Water and was until recently part of the ICLEI Water Campaign.

The Waterwise Council program works with the Water Corporation and Department of Water to achieve reductions in scheme water and groundwater annually.

“We’ve been recognised as a Waterwise Council since 2009, and this highlights our commitment to reducing water use in our community and maintaining it in years to come,’’ he said.
