THERE will be four new faces on the City of Mandurah council after the local government election results tonight.

Deputy Mayor Caroline Knight retained her seat and will be joined by Ahmed Zilani in representing the North Ward.

The voter turnout rate was 28.34 per cent for Town Ward, 27.19 per cent for East Ward, 27.23 per cent for Coastal Ward and 26.36 per cent for North Ward.

The new councillors will be sworn in at Tuesday night’s council meeting.
