Cleaners carpeted over ‘dodgy’ service

Sajjad Abbasi said he requested a carpet cleaner to clean his premises and claims they did a ‘dodgy job’.

‘They were in a hurry to go to the next job,’ he said.

‘When we offered to pay through card, they became abusive and insisted on cash. They did not give us any receipt, even upon asking several times.’

Mr Abbasi warned customers to always request a receipt when booking a service, and warn them if paying by debit or credit card.

‘If they say no, then it is a good idea to run away from them,’ he said.

‘It is my intention to just warn others’
