Chris Chandler (10) has been diagnosed with leukaemia and the club is holding a fundraiser at Peelwood Reserve on January 25.

Funds raised will help the Chandler family through the coming months of treatment and expenses.

‘Chris is a lovely unassuming lad who is extremely passionate about football, Mandurah City FC and is a fine player in our under 10s squad,’ club president Pete Rowe said.

‘If any businesses out there in the Peel region can help us help his family through this tough time, we’d be very grateful.’
