The St Monica’s House students will push wheelchairs to raise money to help fund wheelchairs donated to children injured in war-torn countries.
In the past nine years, students have raised more than $30,000.
The money goes to Wheelchairs for Kids, which is overseen by Brother Ollie Picket and involves a Mandurah Rotary club. It involves more than 100 retired men building wheelchairs in Wangara.
Each recipient gets a wheelchair, a fluffy toy (also collected by the students) and a knee rug.
