PeelConnect held a celebrating community connection dinner at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing Club.
The aim of the dinner was to build relationships in the Peel Region between agencies, the community and volunteers.
PeelConnect was established by Reg Lambert in 2015 to bring agencies together to help address issues such as homelessness, mental health, drugs and alcohol.
PeelConnect volunteers supply care bags with donated items such as blankets, towels, socks, toiletries and other essential items to those in need. Night carers offer hot drinks, a friendly chat and referrals for those that need assistance.
All of the work by PeelConnect is done by volunteers.
