Council starts planning for youth

The Shire has developed the strategy after consulting young people, the community and service providers to identify and understand the needs of local youth aged 12-20.

The Shire held a comprehensive youth survey with students from years 10, 11 and 12 at Pinjarra Senior High School and Austin Cove Baptist College.

More than 400 responses were received.

Copies of the draft strategy are available for inspection at the Shire of Murray administration office, Murray Library, Murray Leisure Centre and Dwellingup History and Visitor Information Centre.

Submissions to the chief executive officer close on Friday, August 28, at 4.30pm.
