Crash claims life of Wanneroo man

A TRAGIC accident on Saturday, May 9 has claimed the life of an 18-year-old man from Wanneroo.

Major Crash Investigators are seeking the public's information regarding the crash in Dwellingup.

It is believed that after midday, an 18-year-old man driving a purple Holden Commodore SS Utility travelling north on Nanga Road lost control while it was negotiating a bend.

The vehicle hit a tree and the passenger, the 18-year-old Wanneroo man, sustained critical injuries.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The driver suffered serious injuries, but he is in a stable condition.

The passenger passed away yesterday.

Police would like witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw the Commodore beforehand to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
