Cricket: Mandurah Baptist College Year 10s win state schools championship

MANDURAH Baptist College Year 10 boy’s cricket team won the state finals cricket.

Health teacher Stefan Aspeling said the team took out the state title after winning their division at the Peel regional final on November 2 at Lark Hill.

The Years 7 – 10 MILO T20 Blast School Cups wrapped up with the State finals on November 3 at Britannia Reserve.

“It was a fantastic day for cricket and there was some excellent cricket played throughout the day,” Mr Aspeling said.

“Mandurah Baptist College is now the proud holders of 2017 State Championships.”

The team members were Miles Costley, Louie Kendrick, Hayden Michaels, Liam Collins, Alex Quigg, Zane Saffrey, Reife Steward, Tom Norris, Shawn Pretorius and Harrison Elliott.
