DAWESVILLE MLA Zak Kirkup is offering a free smoke alarm battery exchange service for the whole of April.
“We all know just how important smoke alarms are for detecting house fires,’’ he said.
“As part of this, the Department of Fire and Emergency Service reminds residents to change their smoke alarm battery on April 1 each year.
“I want to make sure as many people across the community are protected which is why I am offering a free smoke alarm battery exchange.

Mr Kirkup’s office is at 1/633 Old Coast Road, Falcon and open 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
