Mandurah detectives hunt for sex pest who indecently assaulted a ten-year-old girl in Secret Harbour

MANDURAH detectives need the public’s help with an investigation into the indecent assault of a young girl in Secret Harbour on Wednesday, April 19.

A 10-year-old girl and her seven-year-old sister were playing in a park on Greeson Parkway around 12.00p, when they noticed a male believed to be in his late teens, sitting on a park bench watching them.

Mandurah detectives are circulating this image along with their calls for assistance.

The girls felt uncomfortable and decided to walk home.

As they walked along Champlain Way, the same teen rode past them on a black mountain bike.

He indecently assaulted the 10-year-old girl as he rode past her.

The male is described as a Caucasian in his late teens with acne.

He was wearing camouflage shorts, a black hoodie and black sunglasses.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 12pm and 12.30pm.
