Dudley Park: RSPCA seeks information after dog found mutilated

RSPCA WA and police are seeking information after a dog was found mutilated in Dudley Park on Thursday, June 21.

Mandurah Rangers responded to a call about an American Staffy cross dog found with a deep laceration around the middle of its torso and abrasions to its paws and face.

The dog was found on Waterside Drive in Dudley Park in Mandurah, about 1km from its home.

The Rangers rushed the dog to a vet, who then called the owners.

Due to the serious nature of its wounds, the decision was made to put the dog down.

CCTV footage from the area shows the dog walking along Leslie St just 25 minutes before it was found wounded.
