Elderly man assaults teenage boy at Mandurah aquatic centre

POLICE claim a teenage boy was assaulted by an elderly man at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre on Friday, November 16.

Police said the boy was assaulted between 2pm and 3pm at the Pinjarra Road venue.

Shortly afterwards the man re-approached the victim and spoke with him briefly before leaving.

Mandurah Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw the assault, or the elderly man talking with a teenage boy around this time.

The man was described as fair skinned with a medium build, 60-65 years of age with grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, light coloured shorts and white sneakers. He was also seen carrying a blue sports bag.
