Erskine retiree claims share of $1 million Lotto prize

A RETIRED man from Erskine has claimed his share of last night’s winning $1 million Lotto ticket sold at newsXpress Halls Head.

The man was part of a syndicate and his share of the winnings was $125,840.

The man has won a Division 2 prize in Powerball in the past.

He was only one number off winning the jackpot and has now finally struck the big one.

“I like to invest in Lotto because of the good work Lotterywest does in the community,” he said.

“I believe in giving back to others and will keep playing.

“I regard myself as a lucky person, my dad used to say I was born under a lucky star.

“Winning Division 1 was a surprise.”

The man said he would spend some of his winnings on helping his family.
