Explore open garden in Dwellingup

DWELLINGUP and Mandurah residents will get the chance to explore Dwell Cottage’s gardens on October 6 at their open gardens event.

The garden features roses, camellias, wisteria, numerous deciduous trees under-planted with more than 500 annual bulbs, perennial bulbs, herbs, hellebores and sedum.

It will cost $12 to enter which includes tea and scones.

The event is in aid of Mt Elgon Trust Children’s Home in Kenya, which aims to relieve poverty and promote health, education as well as welfare.

The gardens will be open between 10.30am and 4pm.
