MANDURAH Catholic College student Calum Carty was a finalist in the Bond University Film and Television Awards on Saturday night.
He was one of three students Australia-wide nominated in the category of best music video for his film Drop the Game.
A shortlist of 20 films by 18 senior high school students were nominated across six categories – best animation, best comedy, best documentary, best drama, best experimental and best music video.
The awards aimed to unearth talented young film makers from across Australia.
There were 192 entries received this year.
