Fire at Cut Tavern Bar and Bistro

THE Cut Tavern Bar and Bistro could have been burnt the the ground after someone set fire to a grass tree, just metres from the venue.

Owner Kelly Brown said the grass tree was set on fire at 2.30am this morning.

Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Group attended the scene.

A male wearing a hoodie was captured on the tavern’s CCTV.

“The flames were right over the top,” Mrs Brown said.

“It was lucky there was no wind, otherwise it would have burnt down the building.”
