THE Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City of Mandurah has decided that due to extremely high winds permits to burn will not be issued and existing permits are suspended effective from October 30 until November 1.

Any fires currently burning need to be extinguished.

Winds of up to 45km/h have been forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology over the next two days with a high chance of rain.
