POLICE are hunting for gatecrashers who caused extensive damage to a home on Adonis Road in Mandurah on Saturday night.

At about 9.30pm, about 80 gatecrashers showed up to the Silver Sands home and a fight broke out.

The gatecrashers smashed all the windows, pelted the home with bottles, and knocked holes in doors and walls.

Most of the gatecrashers left when they heard police arrive.

Police will investigate until they find the people involved in damaging the home.

A second home was damaged by fire in Falcon on the same night.

At 9.27pm, the Falcon volunteer fire crew attended a house fire on Mercedes Avenue in Falcon.

They had extinguished the fire by 10.30pm.

They are making further inquiries into the incident.

A department of fire and emergency services spokeswoman said the house sustained about $3000 worth of damage.
