ADRA Community Services in Mandurah focus on hope, recovery

The group will hold a two-day seminar and workshop sessions byCheri Peters on September 16 and 17 at the hall on the corner of Anstruther and Wyeree roads.

Ms Peters will share her story from a life of violence, addiction and helplessness to a life of hope and recovery. The aim of the seminar is to empower people struggling with addictions, abuse, anxiety disorders and depression.

There will also be a 14-week Celebrating Life in Recovery program for healing from emotional damage.

These meetings will be held on Thursdays from September 24 at 3.30pm. The events are free.
