Foodbank’s Peel Garden to Plate features advice on making small changes to improve wellbeing.
Since it started two years ago, the initiative has resulted in more than 160 people attending workshops.
Co-ordinator nutritionist Nicole Ingram said the workshops involve small groups learning how to create simple and healthy meals on a budget.
“We aim to use everyday foods that are widely available to the group to show them that it is just as simple to create your own meals rather than buying them from fast food retailers,” she said.
