THE Pinjarra Tigers claimed top spot on the Peel Football and Netball League ladder after thumping Halls Head by 67 points 15.6 (96) to 3.11 (29).

Pinjarra got off to a strong start, kicking four goals to four points in the first quarter to notch up its 12th win of the season.

The Tigers are equal on 48 points with Centrals, who defeated Rockingham by 27 points 15.10 (100) to 11.7 (73) with Ryan Henley booting five goals.

Tyler Sutton also kicked five majors for the Rams.

Baldivis cemented its spot on third with another thrilling contest, winning by just four points 11.6 (72) to 8.20 (68) against an inaccurate South Mandurah after last week’s one-point victory over Waroona.

Waroona bounced back from its narrow loss to the Brumbies, beating Mandurah by 50 points 16.23 (119) to 10.9 (69).

A seven-goal final term set up the win, with Alan Wilson the leading goalkicker for the Demons.

His four goals took his tally for the season to 28.
