Footy inspired pie proves an Aussie pie comp winner for Pinjarra Bakery and Patisserie

PINJARRA Bakery & Patisserie staff are savouring their winning streak at the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition in Melbourne.

The Pinjarra bakery took out the Footie Pie Category with a Richmond Tigers inspired pie.

The store also scored top marks in the Boutique Pie Category with their Seafood Pie.

WA as a state dominated the competition with Four Seasons Patisserie in Kelmscott being awarded Overall Winner Plain Pie, and taking first place for Overall Winner Plain Sausage Roll was Oven Crisp Bakery in Riverton.

Pinjarra Bakery & Patisserie tied for second place of Australia’s best pie, winning the title of Overall Runner Up Plain Pie.

The event was held at Fine Foods Australia.
