Foundation Christian College students planted grass trees

A parent donated 25 baby grass trees to the school.

Groundsman Mark Stewart showed students how to take the seedlings out of their pots and gently plant them.

Students will be encouraged to nurture the trees, such as the many tuart trees that have been propagated on site.

Principal Andrew Newhouse said the students used the trees around the school grounds in their imaginary play, such as using leaves for money.
