Fraud and drug charges after Pinjarra house search

A 26-year-old Pinjarra woman has been charged with fraud, drug and stealing charges after a search of a Baronia Close house yesterday.

Pinjarra police searched the house as a result of their inquiries into various burglaries.

It is alleged police found and seized a small amount of cannabis, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The 26-year-old woman was charged with three counts of gaining benefit by fraud, three counts of possessing a prohibited drug, two counts of possess drug paraphernalia, stealing a motor vehicle, burglary, stealing, receiving and possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

She is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on June 9.
