FREE Digital Springboard workshops will be held at Falcon Library.
The aim of the workshops is to give people the skills they need to start their own business.
The workshops are suitable for anyone who has a business idea that they want to kick start – no prior business experience or knowledge is required.
The event will kick off with a speed networking session, giving participants the opportunity to start building their local support network as a business owner.
This will be followed by skills to start your own business. Skills to start your own business is a three-part short course series from Digital Springboard, a program by Infoxchange and Google.org to help people gain new digital skills, further their career and prepare for the future.
Digital Springboard courses provide job readiness skills such as building a CV and writing a cover letter in a digital world, as well as more in-depth topics such as the business series being delivered in Falcon.
A food truck dinner will be provided for participants.
