Furnissdale: caravan fire causes $25,000 worth of damage

A FIRE in a caravan in Furnissdale last night caused about $25,000 damage.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called at 9.30pm that a caravan was on fire at Peel Caravan Park.

There was about $20,000 damage to the van and $5000 to the annexe.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Some people were treated at the scene.
