The foursome had gone on an overnight fishing trip in their boat Yeah Bouy.

When they didn’t return the alarm was raised prompting a massive search off the coast.

Their family member Belle Howard wrote that the funds raised will pay for the funeral of the two men who had been found and to support Mr O’Neill’s fiancé Ashleigh Hough and their three children William (10), Jackson (8) and Zach (3).

Ms Howard described Jacob Pham as “the sweetest young man” who leaves behind an adoring mother Andrea Henning and two sisters, Ashleigh Hough and Jiordy Pham.

“Both losses leave huge holes in our family which can never be filled” she wrote.

“We are still holding on to hope for finding Jacob and Jiordy’s father and Andrea’s husband, Uock, along with his brother Tuan (father of two little boys).

“We are seeking funds to assist in the funeral costs and to aid the family members throughout the coming months as they come to terms with the losses, especially stay at home mum Ashleigh who is now raising three children by herself and has lost the breadwinner of her family.”
