A FUNDRAISING Rotary Golf Day at Mandurah Country Club in November raised more than $14,500 for Peel Youth Medical Services.

The funding covers landscaping and garden furniture at the recently opened Allnutt Street complex and an amount also for youth mental health services.

PYMS manager Denise Puddick said 78 per cent of the 1300 or so registered clients at PYMS had mental health or drug and alcohol problems.

She said the number of clients had doubled since the complex opened earlier this year.

The community can check out Peel Health Hub at an open day on Wednesday, April 17 between 10am and 2pm.

The day will include a tour of the health hub, a Peel Thunder handball competition, group drumming sessions, personal training sessions, a free barbecue, wrecking ball, bucking bull and petting zoo.
